Imaged on the 18.07.21 while doing some testing and waiting for Jupiter and Saturn to rise. Large crater Clavius lies towards the top-right of the frame with Tycho and its central peaks lying to the left of Clavius.
Plenty of rugged detail to see on this area of the waxing moon’s terminator.
The moon was almost 9 days old and around 70% illuminated.
Imaged with a Celestron C11 and a ZWO290MM camera fitted with an Astronomik IR pass filter.
